The Pixel 6a has been removed from the Google Store.

Google appears to have stopped selling the Pixel 6a smartphone. According to reports, this week has seen the noticeable removal of the Pixel 6a from the official Google Store. Users who visit its old URL are redirected to the Pixel 7a listing, which is its replacement.

When it debuted in the middle of 2022, the Google Pixel 6a was one of our favorite Pixel models, and it is still unquestionably one of the best midrange phones available today. But everything nice has to come to an end, and it seems that the Pixel 6a’s time to go out on its own is finally here. With the Pixel 8a just around the bend, it is not shocking that Google has removed the Pixel 6a’s online listing from its shop.

According to Android Police, the Pixel 6a is no longer available for purchase in the US Google Store. As of right now, visitors are being redirected to the Pixel 7a page from the previous Pixel 6a link, suggesting that Google has indeed completely erased the item from their website.

Fortunately, the Pixel 6a is still accessible somewhere else—at least for the time being. If you’re in the market for one, a fast browse around stores like Amazon and Best Buy shows that the midranger is still available. Even though the more recent Pixel 7a is unquestionably a superior gadget overall, you shouldn’t pass up the Pixel 6a if and when a superb price is offered. Due to the Pixel 6a’s withdrawal from the Google Store, the Pixel 7a is now the sole mid-range/budget Pixel available for purchase through Google’s online store—at least until the Pixel 8a is released.
