Samsung Expands One UI 7 Update List – Is Your Galaxy Device Included?

We do have some news on the One UI 7 roll-out and this time it is good news – Samsung Singapore’s press release is talking about more devices that are to receive the latest Samsung software.
Until now, we had known the newer models: Galaxy S24 and S23 range, Z Fold6 and Z Fold5, Z Flip6 and Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9. The list however officially goes all the way back to the 2021 generation.
Below are some of the Galaxy phones that will receive an upgrade to One UI 7, though again not the full list (we come on to this shortly).
Galaxy S phones
Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra
Galaxy S24 FE
Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra
Galaxy S23 FE
Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra
Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra
Galaxy S21 FE
Galaxy Z foldables
Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6
Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5
Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4
Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3
Galaxy Tab slates
Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra
Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra
Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+
Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) and Tab S6 Lite (2022)
Because the press release doesn’t say which year the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be released, we’re not really certain. The 2024 model is a lock, while the 2022 model is currently only a “maybe.” With Android 13, the 2020 original Tab S6 Lite’s upgrade cycle came to an end.
Also, there must be some flock of Galaxy A phones that will receive One UI 7, that’s how we know that the list is not complete yet, but we do not even dare to dream about how many Samsung would need to get through to those.
And speaking of timing, the press release is tight-lipped on when precisely these devices will be upgraded. Rollout of the newer models starts on April 7 in certain regions, April 10 in others and, as it turns out, April 14 in other regions still–that is the date mentioned in the Singapore press release.
